Director & Founder of Pixida Films
Natalia Galgos
Natalia has worked in the field of forced migration since 2017 with international organisations such as UNHCR, the Red Cross and the EU. She noticed limits to working with established large-scale programmes of humanitarian relief, namely because of their short-term and top-down approaches. That’s why, she started exploring intersectional methods offering a more holistic outlook to the complexities of forced migration. She supported the launch of the festival Refugee Week Greece and is an MA SOAS graduate in Migration, Diaspora studies with Intensive Persian, and currently works in the charity sector in London. As a creative, she believes that art can be used as a medium to connect people and places.
With Pixida Films, Natalia aspires to bring forward discussions and experiences that can change the way people relate to the subject of migration and to each other.

As the social media manager for Pixida Films, she hopes to connect the world with migrant stories and elevate migrant voices through compassion, vulnerability and determination.
